Weekend (umbrellas & siblings)
This week was...interesting. Lots of unplanned, random stuff happened.
Saturday-Had cell in multiple places. First went to Grace Canopy for games. Then went to this totally TINY room for worship. All the girls moved out, and had worship outside. Then went upstairs to have discussion. Turns out Natalie is gonna be my partner for the 50 Day 'Celebrate Jesus!'. :D
Before walking to the bus stop me and Natalie had a tug of war with the umbrella.
It was me and Natalie against the umbrella. We kept pressing this button, when we only had to push it open. Afterwards we were like, "Dumb umbrella. But we're dumber." The gate was locked so we just walked the long way round. Halfway Natalie saw it wasn't raining, so she closed the umbrella. It started again after 5 minutes, so she opened it up again.
Right in my face!!! Laughed till she couldn't even hold the umbrella straight!!! LOL!!!
Sunday-Small group was MUCH better than usual. Got the girls to be calm. FINALLY. Outside, played truth or dare with Nicole, Natalie & Caleb. Boring, cause no one chose Dare. I mean, who would? Only a complete IDIOT would choose Dare.
Had to take Zoe & Reagan with me to lunch. Gosh...nearly went insane, but in a good way.

Weekend (Planetshakers!!!!)
This weekend has been hilarious. I've been finding it harder to stop laughing...This weekend has been crazy, totally insane. Here's what happened:
Saturday-Went to worship practice. Went ok I guess. Then I don't remember lunch. MegaLife was cool, interesting. Cell, also ok. Nothing much on Saturday.
Sunday-Woke up super early, for no reason at all. My alarm didn't even go off -.-. Worship was good, better than normal weeks. After breakfast, went to the atrium and did: don't remember. After the teachers' meeting went to wander round. Once 2nd worship was over everyone went out to the atrium. Got 'Celebrate Jesus' done really fast. Played 'truth or dare' with Natalie, Nicole & Caleb. Nearly fell out of my chair when Caleb
LICKED THE FLOOR. AND IT WASN'T EVEN A DARE. HE JUST DID IT. LOL!!!!
Lunch was funny! Ryan made me laugh till I couldn't breathe. haha! Went to a Planetshakers workshop, totally cool! Darren had to walk out of the room to pick up Kenneth. He was like, "I have to walk past Planetshakers! OMIGOSH!!!" Everyone was like, "Just hope he doesn't faint or something." During the Q&A time the guy was like: "Well. All I have to say is....BAM!!!" *everyone jump out of their seats* i nearly jumped out of my chair! He did it again and Piying screamed. LOL!!! When it was over we went to Macs. Drank coke and listened to everyone talking. Hilarious. Till, Ryan started being a total PEST. Punched him like dunno how many times in that day...

Today was f-u-n! Had to work like
insane to distract Natalie from seeing the card.
HAPPY BDAY NATALIE!!!!! Anyway, worship was really good today. 1st service there were dunno how many mistakes, 2nd service was sooo much better. Really felt the kids were into it, at least, I hope so...
Then did nothing. Just hung out with everyone. Then lunch was fun, me & Nicole kept singing along with the songs that Fish & Co. played. Hahas. Nothing much this week.

Weekend! (cheezels & weird phone calls)
This week was weird. So I'll start from the beginning:
Saturday-Went to band practice. After that did nothing with Abby & Nicole. Then, got left behind on the way to lunch. Helped Aunty Rena with some CNY stuff. Went to MegaLife, and had cell...The usual.
Sunday-Got to church and practiced. Then after 2nd service had Cheezels' party. Here are some highlights: 1.Sang this TOTALLY COOL acepella thing. 2.It was totally touching, and almost everyone cried. (meaning almost all the girls. the guys were trying to be macho, but you could still see tears in their eyes.)

Weekend! (interesting...)
This weekend was the most interesting in a while. Here's what happened:
On saturday: Me, Nicole & Natalie went to church. During band practice we made a new genre to 'Away in a Manger'. Blues & Jazz, but I still like the traditional. It was interesting/fun to learn how to sing jazzy though.
Then had lunch, I don't even remember what happened. Memory bank is failing XD.
On sunday: Kenneth walked over to my house, and it was raining. So, I brought an umbrella and shared with him. After we'd gotten everybody together, we went by the new route. I call it the 'Adventure Walk', because there were worms/snails/snakes. Luckily we didn't run into any snakes, but we saw lots of worms. And each time Natalie saw one she either sreamed or said, "Eeeeeewwwwww!" It was fun though, once we got to church I was able to relax.
We practiced for like 20 minutes, then we stopped and went to do our own thing. During first service worship we messed up! Completly messed it up! But, in-between services one of the megalife pianists helped us to get everything together and stuff. Second service there were no mistakes at all! It was -thankfully- great!
During second service me & Nicole were just reading our books doing nothing. Quite boring.
Lunch was also pretty boring. Nothing much this weekend...

Weekend! (a walk on the beach, a friend & God)
The weekend was fun, yet tiring as usual. Everything mostly happened on Sunday, so I'll write about that:
Reached church right on time. And it was the opening of Victory Chapel. It was really fun, even Dorathea rara-ed for the first service. During the first service I kept doing the actions wrong and stuff, but in the end I guess everything was fine. Victory Chapel is so cool! It's like a hotel or something! Then went to the atrium and played 'Would You Dare?', which is a mix of truth or dare and would you rather. It's really fun! But, man, the dares we thought up! It was crazy!!!
So, after second service we celebrated Darren's/Benedict's birthdays. Abby & Piying had a can of whipped cream and
tried to spray it on Darren's hair. But it turned out to be melted, so it just dribbled all over his head. We had been praying and Darren jumped and ran like crazy. It was hilarious!
Lunch was ok I guess. I did't feel like eating, after helping the cell with something I felt kind of sick. So I just went along with the rest to Fish & Co, Express. But I only ate some fries. Benton & Chee Yan were like having a Q & A session or something. But it was interesting anyway. Stayed there for quite a while, just hung out with everyone. Went to the grass patch and did, well...nothing really.
I didn't want to go home and neither did Abby. So we went with Kenneth to the beach. Walking and talking was what me & Abby did the whole time. But not usual talking, just about out lives that's all. It was really cool, like I've only talked to someone like that once in my life. I have a feeling it's gonna be more often now. I finally understand some stuff I've been confused about for a while. Anyway, it was a cool, relaxing & nice day.

Weekend! (red lobster)
Today everybody asked how I got my sunburn. It was pretty boring today. In my free time me & Dorathea worked on the card. Then Small Ben joined in and totally saved the day. After we all stuck something on my accident.
As usual, hanged with Nicole, Natalie, Dorathea & Small Ben. Very normal.

Weekend! (a new member!!!)
The weekend was sooo fun! Here's what happened:Saturday-I wasn't serving that week so I can stay at home all morning *sigh blissfully*. Then went out to church around 2.30. Met the cell and helped to make a card for Charis. Totally fun, as usual Jayna and most of the group were 'high'. Then Dorathea came and I talked with her for a while. We got so much finished!!!Sunday-I had to serve for small group -every week- so I walked over to Nicole's house. Then we walked to church as usual, nothing new there. When we got to church a whole bunch of the boys were there, so was totally bombarded with 'boy weirdness'. One of the guys picked up a mike and was talking all weird so me and Nicole were looking/laughing. Then he looked over to us and said, "Hey senioritas! Watcha looking at?" I was like, "It's seniora! Seniorita is for a married woman! You better learn better spanish buster." Then his eyes got all big and he looked totally shocked. LOL! It was so funny!After service- Me and Dorathea had been talking in the atrium. Me Nicole & Natalie all agreed: Dorathea is the new Jacie! Making me Solana but whatever. Welcome to the Brio gang Dorathea!!!! (if you're reading this!!!) Then we celebrated Jesse's b'day. Happy B'day Jesse! (if you're reading this)Then Kenneth asked us if we were going to the small group trainging thing. We bothi didn't even know what it is! We asked Che Yan and in the end I had to call Aunty Suzanna. So we did have to go. No lunch with the band, too bad...Anyway, after the trainging thing was over me and Dorathea talked to Aunty Lisa for a while. Weekend (and other thoughts...)
This weekend was the same as always: crazy, wild & out of control. Who ever thought I could be serious during a weekend? (Anybody who's reading this, I kept the seriousness inside. I was being the usual smiley & quirky me outside) Anyway, more about my weekend. On saturday I went to practice and then went to lunch with the rest. With no changes, just being crazy. Then on Sunday me & Nicole went served for worship. (PS: Natalie, if you're reading this, praying for you! Even though you have no emotions at all about PSLE) After second service all I did was hang out and read. Interesting right?!Now, for some random thoughts. Ever feel out of place? Kind of lost even? I kinda felt like that after Saturday, like I don't know where I am. I don't belong anywhere. I'll never be like other people. Like, others kids blend so nicely into little groups of friends. I kinda stand there, a loner. Sure, I can be surrounded by friends, but I just feel...Out of place, like I'm just, a person. I'm no one special, just a loner who's out of place. Weekend! (maggots & keyboards)
Ever think that sometimes things are so sick that when you look at food, you feel like throwing up? Well, I just heard the story that changed my out-look on Macs. As we were walking back from band practice, Darren started talking about an e-mail he got. It was about McDonalds curry sauce, and maggots. A great story to tell right before we were gonna eat McDonalds. I ate my burger totally slowly. After I finished, we all started talking -by 'all' I mean: Shannon, Samuel, Small Ben, Big Ben, Natalie & me-things started getting wierd. I was sitting next to small Ben and big Ben came over and started acting gay. Small Ben started backing up. I was sitting against the wall, causing me to be pinned against the wall and the 'gay situation'. In the end I went under the table and sat with Shannon and Natalie.The keyboards part is just, that I plated keyboard today. Normally I'm used to holding the mike, not playing chords. Weekend! (irony, and lunch!)
This weekend has been one the most interesting. On saturday, when me and Nicole walked to church together. At the cross-walk -the one from Nicole's house to the other street- we waited like 2 lights. We thought, ok the light's broken. So we walked during a red light. Once we got to the other side the light then turned green. Irony was just following me that whole day... After Megalife me and the 'foodbuyers' waited for the 354 for HALF AN HOUR!!! Then our cell leader was shocked when he got to the bus stop and we were still there. We explained our situation and we sat there for 15 more minutes. After a while, we decided to wait for the free shuttle bus at Down Town East. So we walked there, then we turned around to wait for the bus and saw a 354 coming! We had just been saying as we'd been walking that if the bus did that we'd like, kick the gate, throw one of our bags against the wall or something like that... We started talking about how we knew that would happen. Life is just so predictable!Then today, the band celebrated Abby's b'day. HAPPY B'DAY ABBY (if you're reading this)!!!!! I thought that after they cut the cake, 'Ok, this is one b'day that won't turn into a cake fight.' Suddenly Pi Ying went and dipped her hand in the whipped cream and smeared it in Abby's face! Abby, being covered with whipped cream, picked up a handful of chocolate icing and smeared it over Pi Ying's face. After that, a lot of people got 'caked'.When we had gotten most of the cake off of the floor and Abby -plus the people that got 'caked'- had cleaned up, we all headed for Down Town East. As we walked there everybody was discussing what we should eat for lunch. Somebody suggested Tea Valley so we went there. Super fun! It was taking forever for everybody to order, so me & Natalie just went up to the counter and ordered. That day 'Baby Gan' had come, so we she kept mentioning the Superlife 'family' thing. (that family is sooooo messed up!) This has been one of the most interesting weekends I've ever had...Irony AND lunch with the band. Yup, very interesting weekend! :DLabels: Weekend

Saturday was soooo fun! After about half the worship practice all the singers went into Faith Chapel to practice harmony. We were all alone, without any authourity. Just me, Nicole, Abby, Piying, Shannon & Benjamin. We all didn't really practice. After about 10-20 minutes, we all got bored and started singing random songs. For no reason at all might I add. We were singing like, Feliz Navidad (in the middle of the year!) and chinese songs. Some of us started lying down and singing because it was easier to sing that way. When we had been singing random songs for about 10-15 minutes we started practicing harmony again. After megalife I went to a concert. It was soooooooooooo good! It was a piano concert. Totally nice! There was one song that had 2 singers singing it. The guy's name was Benjamin and he looked like an adult version of Benjamin Leow! When I saw the singer I was like, 'OMG! He looks like an adult version of Ben!' The I checked the name and I was like, 'OMG! He also the same name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' I was so shocked!On sunday nothing special happened. It was the usual stuff. Kinda weird because usually I have a great time with the band. It was one of those weekends that everything seemed normal. Wonder why? The weather? The fact that I was still tired? I dunno....Fact: The whole superstision of wearing onions around your neck came from a long time ago. When a whole bunch of people got sick from a horrible plague only the onion merchants didn't get sick. They all were saved because the onions helped fight off the bacteria. That's how the myth of putting onions arond your neck to keep away vampires. Onion power!!! XD...LOL!!!! Labels: Weekend
Weekends, albums and lollipops, what next?!
Last weekend was sooooooooooooo much fun! Can't believe the months have gone by so fast! Can you believe it's already August????? I mean, total fast-forward....Wonder if it has anything to do the fact that I've been super, super, super packed every week. At least on weekends.Anyway, the album results haven't come out yet. Just waiting for it makes me feel like jumping up and down. *jumping up and down*. The 4ever humble (and flattering) Natalie's been pestering me -not really "pestering", but bugging me in a good way- about the album. That I'm, I qoute, "Gonna get in the album. Uncle Mike likes your voice the most." As my usual -annoyed, and bugged that she doesn't think she has a chance either- reply, "Whatever. Wait. Do you hear that? It's you're alarm clock! Time to get out of dream land! You're a great singer!!!!!!!!!!" (It's the truth sister, and don't deny it!!!!) Every weekend always ends with me wishing it was longer. Why are weekends so short? Why can't there be 5 weekends and only 2 weekdays? That would do many students some justice. *thinks* Well, whatever...Ever been so bored you wanted to see what would happen if you put a lollipop in the microwave? My advice: DO NOT DO IT!!!!! For the 1st thing, that's stupid. Who wants a warm lollipop? 2ndly, if you put it in to long and bite into it it could explode! 3rd, you could burn your tongue. Just a quick fact. Hey! Good idea! Worship practice was...messy (?). I mean first we couldn't get the starting to 'Tell the World That' right and then Kenneth left, being late for a meeting. Then worship practice got even crazier. I'm still wondering how that was possible, but it did get crazier.This weekend was fun! Nubian Gents rocked! They are sooo cool! I love them, I wish my friends could come but they were all busy. Anyway, the whole cell invited about 80 people and out of the 80 40 came!! I was so excited that my cell brought so many people.Then on Sunday worship was fun. Worship getting much better! So glad! We were all jumping around during 'Tell the World' and were doing some new actions that we put in. We were all enjoying ourselves. I also volunteered to take care of Natalie's little sis. I mean, she's soooo cute! How could you resist her? I guess you could call it baby-sitting. But, it was ok, Nat's sis is very well behaved.After church the band went out for lunch, at BK. So much fun! I have to admit playing 'Would you Rather?' with Ben was fun. He was being totally cruel and giving me really hard questions so I gave him the hardest question EVER. I asked him (to get back at him in one question), " Who would you rather kiss? Natalie or Nicole?" I totally thought he would answer Natalie since it is 'Would you Rather'... But, he refused to answer. So now I gotta think of some kind of forfeit. Somebody help! I can' t think of anything!! And if I don't think up something, he'll give ME a forfeit! Auditions, it's gonna be scary.........
Auditions are coming up in 3 weeks! I'm freaking out!! It's gonna be interesting... that's the only word I can think of. I've been thinking, 'What if I don't get in? What do I do then?' Then I thought, 'You're not even doing it now. So you wouldn't be in it any more than you were.' Right? I mean no big deal right? Wrong, so wrong. I don't think I could take that kind of failure, I've already been thinking my voice isn't that good anyway. So what's the point of even hoping? I'm getting scared...
Yesterday was the last day of vacation. At church they had this game day and fun stuff. Guitar lessons got cancelled because the worship team had to help pass out the prizes. Yesterday we also celebrated Kenneth's b'day. We had 3 fake cakes and only 1 real one for him to eat. When he tasted the first one they had put jia jia liang die in it. Then the second one they had put salt, pepper and chilli inside. Then Ryan and all the guys kept trying to smash the cake on his face.Me and the other girls are getting kinda scared about our b'days, seeing what they've done to Darren and Kenneth. Good thing I still have until December for my b'day. I'm still scared though, I hope they don't go and squish cake in my face. The guys say they're not so mean to the girls, but I don't really trust them. I mean they totally put chilli in Darren's cake, they also smashed cake in Kenneth's face and Ryan tried to put a cherry in his hair!!!!!! LOL!!!Labels: Weekend
