How do I title this?

Hello people. I was just reading the SuperLife blog. And when I read the recent post of 'Cheezels' I was jerked out of my happy mood. I suddenly felt confused and tired.

Why do we invite our friends to church even though we know they'll day no? I asked myself that and the answer that would come to your mind immediatly is, 'I wanna save my friends.' Yes, but when you actually think about it. You don't know do you? You've been dragged so deep in your mind you're kind of lost. Am I right? I know you're now feeling kind of sad. I'm sorry to ruin your day. Or ruin your day even more. But ask yourself that...

Also, lately I've been finding that people like to preach at me. Like when I sms, msn or just talk people, they always have the perfect Christian answer for everthing. I find it annoying/it bugs me. Like, I already know what the perfect Christian answer is, I've heard it a million times. But what is your personal answer?

Sentosa!

I'm totally tired today -I blame Kenneth for my sunburn. You planned the outing-but todays post will be long. :D

Yesterday went to Sentosa, had a lot of fun. But now I have a totally bad sunburn. Anyway, more about that day, not about now. So, met Kenneth, yanR & Dorathea at White Sands (I met Ryan & Kenneth by accident, just saw them and we waited for Dorathea together PS i spelled Ryans name wrong because he's not a human. He's a alien. So I spelled it so he can read it. XD)

Met everyone else at Tampines mrt. Waited for Jesse, then went to Vivo. Ate brunch there, it was interesting. Then we headed to Sentosa, Kenneth was like, "Don't throw away the card. You still have to get back to Singapore." Everybody said ok (of course!). Once we got there we first all sat in the sand, just taking in the beach-y feeling. Then once we were all feeling 'beach-y' we played captains ball. I stink at ball games and the whole time I was dropping ball.

After, we took a break and everybody asked Kenneth if we could put our feet in the ocean, sea or whatever it is. And he said we couldn't get completly wet till 2. While we were getting our feet wet Kenneth walked up to the seas edge. Then Ryan walked up to him and said something (in his alien language or just said something annoying), then all of a sudden he pushed Ryan in! All of us were like, "You said we had to wait till 2!" Then he went and grabbed Piying, Abby & Dorathea and shoved them into the sea, ocean or whatever! I could kind of predict that coming and ran out of the way before they all lunged at me.

After they'd all gotten soaked they noticed me, Ben & Jesse were the only dry ones. (We'd been able to stay water-free) They all started creeping out of the water, trying to pull us in. I ran away telling Kenneth I had to go to the toilet. Dorathea followed, and while heading there we plotted to pull Small Ben in to the sea. So after we'd come back Ben was already in the sea with the guys, causing our planning to go down the tubes.

Some time passed with water-play. Then the guys wanted to swim out to the small island across the sea, ocean or whatever. They headed there and the life guard blew at them. How about some high lights? Ok:
1. We learned that rubbing sand on our skin causes out skin to be super smooth.
2. Small Ben lost his glasses. Temporarily. We were all walking super carefully and in the end Matthew or Ben stepped on them. I dunno which one...
3. The guys started doing flips. Like they'd lock their hands together and a guy would step on it, jump and land. Jesse almost always landed on his feet. (He could be an acrobat)
4. Kenneth lost 1 of his 2 volleyballs. Joshua lost his rugby ball, from Australia.(we think someone swiped them)
5. Me & Dorathea made a really cool thing in the sand. It said Dorathea and Amberlie, SuperLife '08
After the totally beach-y time everybody wanted to on the luge. I still have the stamp on my hand, though it's kind of faded from bathing. I totally didn't want to go. I didn't have any money to go anyway. The only reason I went was because the only way everybody was going to get the family package was because I'm only 12+. That's the only reason I went. I was completly scared to death of the ski lift up. I practically wanted to jump off in the middle of the thing. Luckily I didn't, I'm not that insane. I was praying the whole time, 'Please don't let me fall off, please don't let me fall off.'

Then, I didn't have enough for dinner. I just went anyway. Decided to fast with Ben since I couldn't afford anything. Jesse bought dinner for Ben and Matthew for me.

THANK YOU, NICE PEOPLE!

After we fasted we could eat, so then prayed. Everybody was worried about me -I don't understand why though, I was tired- because I barely said anything. Am I really that talkative? So I ended up with many questions which I just shrugged/nodded/shook my head to. yanR was sooooo pleased with himself when I answered his question with words.

Anyway, told ya it'd be a long post...But I had fun there and had fun reacalling everything. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures. Sorry people!

Dark Era 7

Katie looked totally shocked for a few minutes. I stared intently at her, and when finally she opened her mouth she said, "Yea, I know this guy. Pretty well actually."
I kinda wanted to jiggle her around to shake her out of her trance and to tell me who it was. Instead I took a lock of her hair and gently tugged it.

She looked at me again -still shocked- and licked her lips. She said, "Well, remember how I've tried inviting you to church before?" I didn't see the connection and just shrugged. She picked up her bag and started rummaging through her bag. She pulled out a book, a thick one with a leather cover. She slowly flipped through and showed me a picture and held it up to the sketch book. I stared at it. The guy in the picture was the same guy! He was facing a big bunch of people, and seemed to be talking. Katie said, "Oh, Faith. How did you know how to draw Him? Since you've never seen my Bible before?" I just took hold of the Bible and my sketch book.

How did I know? And, why was He in Katie's Bible?

Sentosa!

This is so weird, I can't change the fonts or the size or anything. Dunno why...

Anyway, I'm writing about a trip to Sentosa. A whole bunch of the band is going! I'm soooooo happy! I did't get to go to last years BBQ because I was in America. So this is the first outing I've had with the SL band. Normally, this would sound braggy to some who aren't going or something. But honestly, I'm totally happy!

I can't believe my parents are allowing me to go. Me and Nicole were smsing and she said she couldn't go. So it reminded me to ask my parents. In the end they said yes! Then only 15 minutes later Ryan called me and asked if I was going (talk about coincidental!).

Also, please refrain from smsing me. Because I've made like 188 sms-es this month. And I can't go ever 200. So if you need me, drop me a e-mail or call me. Thanx all!!! :D

End of the year & music speaks

Can you believe it's almost the end of the year? It just flew by in such a hurry, I wasn't even able to notice it. How couldn't I notice the year was passing? It's already October! Just 2 more months! It almost seems impossible...

Do you realize that music can speak? To some people it might just be a enjoyment. But to others it's a expression of love, hurt and other emotions. Last Sunday, I was in the atrium with Ryan, Small Ben & Kenneth. We were talking about something and I made the remark -kind of jokingly, I was quoting a movie- then before Kenneth could say anything. Small Ben agreed and looked totally serious. Only this past week I've thought about how music can speak to people.

It really can. When was the last time you listened to a song on your MP3 and you played a song that reflected exactly how you feel? No seriously, consider it. That just happened a few day ago to me. Which led me to replay and ponder that scene at church. Going back to the reflection of music; I just flipped through my songs and chose one random. While I listened to it I realized it reflected exactly what I felt! I was shocked. Maybe when you listen to music it also reflects what's happening to you. It just depends if you like to think deep and get lost in thought that you realize and notice those kind of things...

It's just so amazing. Music, I mean. It can be such a healing power, or a terrible one. *eyes get wide & giggles* I'm starting to sound like Chris Long! LOL! Sorry to ruin the moment and seriousness. But I do! I sound like Chris Long! I just love music and like to think deep, I can't get enough of it!

What do you think of music? Is it just a thing in life? Or a real expression? Think about it...

Weekend! (a new member!!!)

The weekend was sooo fun! Here's what happened:

Saturday-I wasn't serving that week so I can stay at home all morning *sigh blissfully*. Then went out to church around 2.30. Met the cell and helped to make a card for Charis. Totally fun, as usual Jayna and most of the group were 'high'. Then Dorathea came and I talked with her for a while. We got so much finished!!!

Sunday-I had to serve for small group -every week- so I walked over to Nicole's house. Then we walked to church as usual, nothing new there. When we got to church a whole bunch of the boys were there, so was totally bombarded with 'boy weirdness'. One of the guys picked up a mike and was talking all weird so me and Nicole were looking/laughing. Then he looked over to us and said, "Hey senioritas! Watcha looking at?" I was like, "It's seniora! Seniorita is for a married woman! You better learn better spanish buster." Then his eyes got all big and he looked totally shocked. LOL! It was so funny!

After service- Me and Dorathea had been talking in the atrium. Me Nicole & Natalie all agreed: Dorathea is the new Jacie! Making me Solana but whatever. Welcome to the Brio gang Dorathea!!!! (if you're reading this!!!) Then we celebrated Jesse's b'day. Happy B'day Jesse! (if you're reading this)

Then Kenneth asked us if we were going to the small group trainging thing. We bothi didn't even know what it is! We asked Che Yan and in the end I had to call Aunty Suzanna. So we did have to go. No lunch with the band, too bad...Anyway, after the trainging thing was over me and Dorathea talked to Aunty Lisa for a while. This has been a cool weekend.

It wasn't the usual mother daughter shopping trip though. I'm going out this afternoon too. I'm going alone out into the city. It'll be a new experience, yes, but it'll be a cool one.
